Advantages
What are the advantages of using the Grip_A_Lace, compared to other shoelace fastener’s in the market or with the conventional bow knot?
Unlike other devices that are limited to certain types of laces, the Grip_A_Lace shoelace fastener works on a wedge system and address the need to secure the free ends of the lace after fastening. Therefore, without having to tie a knot, this device can rapidly fasten most types of laces, including laces with tuft ends. Other advantage is that this device can be operated with one hand, making it useful for people with disabilities that require this type of invention. In addition, it avoids slippage of lace that normally occurs when completing the conventional bow knot resulting in loss of optimal tension of laces.
